The Juana de Ibarbourou rose garden is located in Prado’s promenade. It is composed of four large pergolas and a bronze fountain in the middle. In addition to a great variety of plants, the garden houses 450 rose species.

With an Art Nouveau architectural style, the Rose Garden opened in 1912. It was designed by Charles Racine, a French landscape architect and built by architect Eugenio Baroffio.
